Sugar and Spice? lol…I was thinking more like… “Don’t be a pathetic human being and do stuff…not boring stuff”.

Before I write out this whole spiel about how I actually don’t think it’s a language thing and a fundamentally different way of thinking…let’s do a test run…

Glass half empty and glass half full. Are they just a different way of describing a glass and the liquid inside or a fundamentally different way of looking at/approaching life?

“Fill your life with Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice, and a woman will join you.” Just doesn’t have the same ring to it, but yes, I understand what you are saying. It sounds more like you are disagreeing with the language rather than the message because the Law and what you have just written are stating the exact same things. All to often, a guy will think he is being great by making her a priority, being the nice guy, only to have her talk about other guys that she is actually interested in and considering him a friend. This isn’t all that bad but he needs to focus on someone who will reciprocate his interest.

Also 10% sounds much lower than it actually turns out to be. If you consider that a vast majority of working Americans (non-Students) work 9-5, 40 hour a week jobs (roughly 80% of their week), that leaves less than 20% of their time to themselves that they can divide between themself and one other person (10% each).

Hmm…not going to lie…not a fan of this post. Mostly because it sends the wrong message. Assuming I agree with the figure of 10%…it’s coming at it from the glass half empty perspective. The point shouldn’t be limiting your thoughts/actions/time with a girl you like to 10%…it should be making sure your life is full of awesome amazing things that are just yours (work, friends, travel, goals, passions, hobbies, whatever you want to call all this stuff) so you might say making sure your life is 90% full of awesome so that a chick worth her salt will fit right in and you won’t be so sad and pathetic that you’d be throwing your 75% at her and instead sharing all the awesome you already got going on. Just Sayin’
