As typical, your points are salient and palpable. All men, women, people as a whole and sole should always have a plan and continue to move forward. People oft ask me how life is and I reply that “It goes.” I may vary this a bit sometimes, but the main point is that it is continuing to move. I look to the future and the only way to get there is to move forward, take an objective, detect, close with and destroy any threats to your journey. Also, you should seek out those who will help you advance your position and leave behind those who hinder and delay. Go forth one and all and capture, sieze and press on…

Thanks for the comment True Man. In this law I wanted to focus on not waiting for the perfect opportunity to start something/anything. Simply “get moving”. There are other leadership ideas from Patton that involve more consciousness such as being well read, “studying your opponent” and making smart decisions based on what is in front of you. He was a pretty controversial person and known to have slapped one of his troops for being “afraid” but overall, he had a sound philosophy. Go Forward!

I agree…to an extent. Always press forward and “keep on, keepin’ on”. But going down with the ship is overrated and can lead to unnecessary losses. Know when to cut ties if you have to.
