Trueman! This probably was not clear in the post. If I meet someone on a Saturday night, and exchange information (etc.), I’ll text them some time on Sunday (probably late afternoon). However, if its a date, or someone that I just went out with, I may text them a few hours later just to let them know I had a good time. I almost never call the first few days any more since text messaging has pretty much replaced this.

By the way, nice changes on the “Man Among Boys” site! Always enjoy reading your post!

“A simple text message or (private) message on facebook stating “I had a great time meeting you” will do the job. Sending a message within a few hours after last seeing the person will put you on a positive trajectory and the other person will think differently of you.”

I gotta disagree here. You have to wait a day or you seem too anxious.

Definitely agree with the “double tap”. It asserts confidence and clarity. Both of these qualities are useful and desirable; especially in a world full of mixed messages.

Thanks for the comment, DJ Long. I use this technique for business, interviews and meeting follow ups as well. And it makes sense. Business is about relationships and you are more likely to want to work with someone or hire you enjoy being around rather than someone that is hard to deal with and socially unaware. The people who make smart social connections and stand out from the crowd, are the ones who consistently get ahead. Double Tapping helps you do just that!

Great and applicable Law. I also assign this in my business interactions. It is amazing hos many correlations there are to the business/professional realm as there are to romance/relationships. As in sales or much like a recruited athlete and school X, the last person a woman speaks to will be the freshest memory. Also, repetition and re-affirmation is key to maintaining a place in her rotation and winning more of her time and attention. Along with the “Double Tap” making that positive first impression is key. Perhaps more important to gainiing a woman’s attention is the second encounter, which really can be the ultimate deal maker or breaker. (This might be worthy of a Law/Rule invesitgation)
